Fostered Deception
Fostered Deception follows Brandon, a 16-year-old boy living in a group home whose in a desperate search to find his mother. His desire becomes so strong that he runs away to find her with only the keepsakes she has left him. A neighborhood friend lets Brandon stay for the night with the intentions of returning him back to the group home in the morning. As Brandon sits he looks through his keepsakes while his friend’s girlfriend prepares food for him. He wonders around the apartment and discovers a shocking resemblance between his friend and him. Reluctant to going back to the group home, Brandon’s emotions get the best of him as he starts a fight with his friend that ends terrible. At the climax of the story, the friend’s mother arrives and the pieces to the puzzle began to make sense.
