María Soledad Bagdasarian finds a manuscript from her grandfather Haigaz, a survivor of the Armenian Genocide, among family documents. After translating these memoirs, Soledad contacts the descendants of Haigaz´s siblings, scattered throughout the United States, France, and Lebanon, to try to reconstruct the family history, giving a new meaning to that common past, understanding the transatlantic voyages and the life of her grandfather. Through the investigation, she will discover that a second version of the manuscript is in an Armenian library of Yerevan, housed during the Soviet Era. It will be a poetic search of the territory, retracing the paths of memory.
