Indonesia has the largest tropical rain forest on Earth. Therefore, Indonesia has long been known as the ‘lungs’ of the world. Forests has an important role in maintaining climate balance. But for indigenous peoples in Tanah Papua and the Maluku Islands, forests are not only as ‘lungs’. For them, the forest is like a biological mother who gives birth, feed and care. It also provide food, water, woods, and medicine. However, the land is under threat from palm oil companies in Tanah Papua and the Maluku Islands, including the West Papua Province. Listen to the story of one of the indigenous leaders from Moi Kelim tribe, an indigenous peoples tribe from West Papua Province.

12-year-old Tatheer embarks on a week-long Police boot camp for girls from a social housing estate in Copenhagen. Far from home, deep in the woods, she navigates grueling rituals, elusive social dynamics, and personal setbacks to find her place in this tender and revealing coming-of-age story.
