Rooted: Stories of Hope is a documentary film project following Rose and Sim, two young nomadic Québécois, on their 400-day journey across Asia. Equipped with a drone and a camera, they seek out inspiring initiatives with positive social, educational, and environmental impacts. Through immersive visits, beautiful visuals, and in-depth interviews, they showcase local projects that strengthen community and ecosystem resilience.
Having completed the production phase, we have documented eight initiatives across various Asian countries. We are now in post-production and seeking professional support to bring the film to life. We are eager to collaborate with like-minded organizations and individuals to craft a 40-minute documentary that weaves together rich visuals and authentic narratives, sharing stories of hope and sustainable solutions from the perspective of curious and open-minded travelers.
