Chasing Dragons is a feature-length documentary following a breast cancer survivor team as they pursue gold at the 2027 International Dragon Boat World Championships.
In 2025, thirty-eight U.S. breast cancer athletes competed in the inaugural Breast Cancer Paddler Division at the world championships in Germany. The newly-formed team stunned the field, bringing home three silver and three bronze medals—missing gold by less than half a second.
In 2027, they return for the gold.
This is more than a comeback story. It is a powerful exploration of survivorship, identity, and the extraordinary capacity of women to rebuild themselves—physically and emotionally—after cancer.
