‘The Archivist’ is a “defeat the extremes” feature film, which positions the viewer in 1971, amid the landscape of small-towns and skittish governments. Soul music proves to be the savior of the town, when an FBI raid threatens to mistreat constitution abiding citizens. Eventually, the love of music, and of a peaceful town, allows the govt to relax and join the table.
