CharacterUp
CharacterUp (cultivatingcharacter.org) is an application that draws from an OER Content Hub to utilizes Mobile Learning and AI tools to facilitate the development of skills needed for the 21st Century. It incorporates neurodiversity as a critical element of education and innovation and provides alternative ways of learning through Short Burst (15-20 minute) video content delivered over a longer time, allowing for reflection and application in everyday life.
Vision – to create modules for non-foundational literacies, like Character and Critical Thinking – that give the learner flexibility in when they receive the information, time to relflect on the information, ways to explore the information and personalize it, and then apply it in their own lives.
Changing the way we facilitate learning experiences, from one hour modules in a classroom to short burst with interactive elements that engage the user experientially.
