Filha Da Mãe (Mother’s Daughter)

Filha da Mãe (Mother’s Daughter) is a podcast that explores and raises awareness about mental health, women’s empowerment, and the female psyche through intergenerational storytelling. Hosted by mother and daughter duo Brida Brando and Sabrina Mata, the podcast creates a safe and intimate space for raw, emotional, and often humorous conversations about identity, self-worth, family dynamics, and personal transformation. By amplifying diverse female voices, Filha da Mãe helps normalize discussions around mental well-being, emotional resilience, and the evolving roles of women in society.

Each episode invites guests to reflect on the women who shaped them, the lessons they’ve inherited, and the challenges they’ve overcome. Through these candid exchanges, Filha da Mãe encourages listeners to embrace vulnerability, challenge family narratives, and engage in self-discovery. By bridging generational perspectives, the podcast aims to break cycles of silence around mental health, self-acceptance, and intergenerational healing, creating a platform where shared stories empower and connect.

With the support of a fiscal sponsor, Filha da Mãe can expand its reach and impact by enhancing production quality, engaging a broader audience, and collaborating with mental health professionals for specialized content. Funding will also enable community-driven initiatives such as live discussions, interactive workshops, and an online platform where listeners can engage with one another and access mental health resources.

Through this partnership, Filha da Mãe seeks to amplify voices, dismantle generational stigmas, and empower women to reclaim their stories because healing begins with conversation.
