Native women in the state of Minnesota are going missing. Sex trafficking and prostitution are to blame. “Pennies from Heaven” is a feature documentary that will explore the Native communities in Minnesota, how the trauma of prostitution and trafficking has affected these girls, why it’s being swept under the rug by Minnesota legislature and police departments, and how the community is healing.
