PINK
PINK is a film about how we are taught about race in overt and subtle ways everyday. Six year old Joanie is an observant girl who learns racism not only through her father’s boisterous bigotry but more poignantly through the passive approval of her mother. Joanie struggles to make sense of what race is when she is first confronted with her whiteness.
