REVIVAL ROADSHOW

Director & Producer: Anne Fehres, Luke Conroy

Set in a speculative future museum, the appraisal of a mysterious artwork sparks a darkly absurd journey shaped by fake news, seductive distractions, rampant consumerism, neo-colonialism, suffocating plastic pollution, nationalism and climate collapse. Framed as a futuristic spin on an art appraisal TV episode, the work uses interactive, gaze-controlled audio, where multiple narratives overlap and compete for the viewer’s attention. As audiences navigate maximalist worlds built from thousands of collaged layers blurring past, present, and future, the work challenges them: Which stories do we preserve, which do we abandon, and which define our future?

12-year-old Tatheer embarks on a week-long Police boot camp for girls from a social housing estate in Copenhagen. Far from home, deep in the woods, she navigates grueling rituals, elusive social dynamics, and personal setbacks to find her place in this tender and revealing coming-of-age story.
