Cinecamp is an initiative that supports parent and guardian filmmakers by providing infant and childcare services during film festivals, markets, and theatrical events. Cinecamp’s high-quality, convenient and affordable care services, designed for children ages 4 months to 12 years, allow parent exhibitors and attendees to fully take part in events that enrich their creative careers without having to choose between professional growth and the needs of their family.
Finding childcare during film industry events can be difficult, overwhelming, inconvenient, uninspired and/or prohibitively expensive. Cinecamp’s initiative offers an infant and child play space staffed with licensed childcare providers in/near venue spaces with convenient drop-in hours and below-market pricing subsidized by donors and sponsors. The proximity, flexibility and affordability means parent filmmakers and attendees can focus on their festival experience knowing that their kids are safe, and having fun.
Cinecamp’s vision for family participation in cultural events expands the diversity of voices in the arts, supports working parents in creative industries, introduces the next generation to cultural engagement, and gives festivals a platform to affirm their commitment to family inclusion and equity.
When children are cared for, filmmaking parents can continue to have their voices heard, expanding the artistic landscape for everyone. Join Cinecamp in making arts and culture truly accessible for families.
