RENEGADE is an intimate feature documentary that follows the journey of Louis Balestra Di Nolfi, who faced Stage IV Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma , kidney failure, and a life-saving transplant. Through a blend of present-day road-trip footage, hospital flashbacks, and personal testimonies, the film paints a layered portrait of survival, resilience, and reinvention.
At its core, RENEGADE is more than a story of illness; it’s about the human spirit and the ripple effect of organ donation. The film explores how one person’s second chance at life impacts family, friends, and community, while opening a broader conversation about health equity, caregiving, and gratitude.
Now in post-production, RENEGADE is designed as both a cinematic experience and an advocacy tool. In partnership with transplant foundations, medical institutions, and universities, the film will serve as a catalyst for dialogue, awareness, and education — inspiring patients, families, and audiences to see organ donation as an act of profound connection and hope.
