Endwell is an independent television and film studio founded by actor, writer, and executive producer Lisa Cordileone to tell stories sidelined by history and build new pathways for bringing those stories to market.
This fundraising initiative supports two areas of development: strategic speaking engagements and the production of a multi-cast audio drama based on Endwell’s first television project, COMMITTED.
As Endwell builds an alternative model for financing and distributing independent television and film, Lisa is increasingly speaking at conferences and industry gatherings that provide direct access to social impact investors, fund managers, philanthropists, family offices, creative entrepreneurs, and strategic partners. Funds will support travel, registration, lodging, and related costs, allowing Endwell to participate in the rooms where relationships around catalytic capital, impact investment, distribution, and the creative economy are being built.
Funds will also support the adaptation, production, and marketing of COMMITTED as a professionally produced six-episode, multi-cast audio drama. Inspired by the Lavender Scare and set in 1953 Washington, D.C., COMMITTED follows one American family fighting to exist at a moment in history whose legacy continues to resonate today.
All six television scripts are complete, and the production company is secured. Production will combine in-studio multi-cast recording with video and behind-the-scenes content.
The audio drama is designed to establish COMMITTED in the marketplace, grow and measure its audience, create new marketing assets, and strengthen its path toward financing and distribution as the first project in Endwell’s slate.
