What we become is a short film which also acts as a ‘proof of concept’ for a TV series about homelessness. It follows five incredible and beautifully tragic characters who survive as a family on the streets of Las Vegas—a very different Vegas to the one we are presented with.
We follow LEAF, a young man on the streets who is determined to rescue the woman of his affection, BLUE, but she is deeply entrenched in life on the streets and addicted to all manner of substances.
In the short we fall in love with this group of friends who band together to protect BLUE but also are introduced to a unique world both of freedom and of danger.
This short will open the eyes of the audiences to the complex, exciting, moving and dangerous world of the Las Vegas Streets.
